About Ronald

My name is Ronald Sieber, and it seems like I was destined to live on wheels, as my earliest recollections were rolling about in or on something with wheels. It was from these experiences that I developed a taste for mechanized fun.

I write about the passions in my life: automobiles, the environment, and healthy living. I've traveled extensively, and those three themes have continually shaped where I go and what I do.

I’ve had a life-long passion for machines, especially automobiles, and since 1966 I’ve either restored, ridden, or raced something mechanical. Speedsters and sports cars were always in the back of my mind, which is why I eventually wrote a book about the topic.

My book, Classic Speedsters: The Cars, the Times, and the Characters Who Drove Them was published in 2022 by Steering Wheel Press. I’m also the editor of the online journal, Classic Speedster. For more information about that book, please visit ClassicSpeedsters.com

After a lifetime of careers in education, construction, and manufacturing, as well as raising a family, I now enjoy playing with my grandchildren and reading to them too.

Concerning Blue Bug, it was a natural step to write it, since I had been a reading specialist during my career in education. I was involved with children's books for decades. And since I now have grandchildren, it'll be a lot of fun to write stories that they would enjoy!

My first children's book, Blue Bug, is being launched on November 1, 2025. Be sure to stop by and order a copy for your loved one!

Although Blue Bug tells the story of a young girl and her love for a car, the gist of the tale is much broader—that one should always hold onto one's dreams and never give up on them. After all, miracles happen every day!

Blue Bug will be part of a children's book series involving healthy living, taking care of the earth's environment, and of course, cars and car life.

The focus will be on children and their attitudes toward these topics. After all, children are our future!
