Greetings, everyone! Friends know that Ronald sitting still is a rare sight unless he's working on a book. He's more often working in his yard or on a car. Or going

on an adventure somewhere!

Quick update on my book, Classic Speedsters, which up to now has only been available in hardback. It's a beautifully designed book by my friend, Nathan Moehlmann of Goosepen Press.

News about my forthcoming book, Blue Bug

Blue Bug: the story of a girl and a car - a very special car!
Blue Bug: the story of a girl and a car - a very special car!

I'm a classic Bugatti fan and also a lover of children's books, as I was a career teacher. then a father of two wonderful children, and now I'm a grandfather. I've read quite a few children's books in my day, and I have a good idea about what makes for a book that captures the imagination of a child:

1. a good story,

2. captivating illustrations (if it's an illustrated book),

3. and a positive message to learn something about Life.

These are all necessary components of a great children's book. And I think you will find that in my book, Blue Bug, that I expect to come out in the fall of 2025.

There are more details about the story that I'll share in the next set of newsletters, including some of the sketches that illustrator Alex Wakefield has been drawing. I think you'll be as excited as I am when you see his images. This promises to be a book to cherish reading with our next generation of automotive enthusiasts!
